Georgia Tech does not publish a gameday parking price anywhere we could find, its season parking is sold out, and when we checked its own booking portal in late July 2026 it listed no upcoming events at all, so single game passes were not yet on sale. That is worth knowing before you plan a day around driving. What Tech does have, and what almost no other campus stadium has, is a subway station three blocks away: exit MARTA at North Avenue and walk west on North Avenue, for $2.50 a ride. There is no free parking here. And the trap on an urban campus made mostly of parking decks is that grills are banned inside every deck and garage, and three of the lots Tech lists say no tailgating at all.

Driving: day of parking is available at E81, ER66, W01, W04, W22 and W23, paid on site to Lanier Parking attendants, with advance passes through ParkMobile when Tech posts the games. Tech recommends the pay decks at Technology Square and State Street if you are coming off the interstate. For tailgating: W04, Sommers Lot and Area 6 are the lots Tech marks as allowing it. Worst plan: assuming you can grill in a deck, or that a space on a lawn or a sidewalk will be there when you get back.

Georgia Tech's own directions say it plainly: exit the North-South line at North Avenue station and walk three blocks west on North Avenue to reach the stadium. A standard MARTA fare is $2.50 with up to four free transfers in three hours, and a 24 hour pass is $9 if you are making a day of Atlanta. Bobby Dodd sits at 150 Bobby Dodd Way with North Avenue as its southern border, so the walk is genuinely short and genuinely flat.
Heads up: You cannot tailgate off a train, so if grilling is the point of your day this is the wrong option and a surface lot is the right one. Rail is also the busiest way in and out on a big game, and we did not verify post game crowding at North Avenue specifically.

Georgia Tech Parking and Transportation says fans may park in designated non residential campus areas, the ones coded with an E or a W, and names E81, ER66, W01, W04, W22 and W23 as available day of. Payment on the day is collected by Lanier Parking attendants on site. Advance passes go through ParkMobile. Tech's directions page separately recommends, for anyone coming off I-75 and I-85, the State Street Parking Deck at 10th and State, or Technology Square at Spring and 5th, where the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center deck and the Centergy Deck both sit.
Heads up: Two things are unresolved and both come from Tech itself. On price: nothing we could find on any Georgia Tech page states a gameday rate, season parking is listed as sold out, and Tech's ParkMobile portal showed no upcoming events when we checked in late July 2026, meaning single game passes were not on sale yet. Aggregator sites quote figures between $12 and $25 and we have not published any of them, because none traces to Tech. Tech allows tailgating on campus but not everywhere, and its lot pages are specific about which. W04, with its entrance at 708 Marietta Street NW, the Sommers Lot at 755 Marietta Street, and Area 6 at 43 5th Street NW are each marked as allowing tailgating. All three take a mobile pass and all three are paved. Area 6 and W04 also list ADA parking.
Heads up: The lots that say no are just as specific, and they include the obvious ones. The Tech Parkway Lot, the W23 North Deck and E81 Tech Square are each marked no tailgating, and E81 and W23 are among the day of lots the parking office names, so it is entirely possible to buy a legitimate gameday space where you are not allowed to set up. Separately, grills are banned inside every parking deck and garage on campus, which on a campus with this many decks rules out most of the covered options.

The Tech Parkway Lot runs along Tech Parkway between Wallace and State, and its lot page states that RV parking is at Wallace Street only. That is the single RV location Tech names.
Heads up: Georgia Tech Parking and Transportation states that on site parking fees are not available for RVs, so this is not a turn up and pay arrangement, and the Tech Parkway Lot separately says no tailgating and takes no cash. An RV that arrives without something arranged in advance has no fallback here. Contact Tech's parking office before driving one into midtown Atlanta.

Getting out after
Bobby Dodd sits inside midtown Atlanta rather than in a ring of parking, which cuts both ways. The good half is that leaving on MARTA from North Avenue is a three block walk and then a train, which beats any drive out of a campus this dense. The bad half is that everything else empties onto North Avenue, Techwood Drive and the 10th Street interstate ramps at the same time, alongside normal Atlanta traffic that does not care there was a game. The advice Tech gives for arriving, use the 10th and 14th and Techwood exit, is also the constraint on leaving.
Tailgating rules
Tailgating is allowed on campus, with two hard limits that matter more here than at most schools. Grills are not allowed inside parking decks or garages, and on a campus where much of the parking is decks that rules out most covered spaces. And Tech marks individual lots: W04 on Marietta Street, the Sommers Lot at 755 Marietta and Area 6 at 43 5th Street NW are listed as allowing tailgating, while the Tech Parkway Lot, the W23 North Deck and E81 Tech Square are listed as not.
The other rule Tech states plainly is where not to put a vehicle: parking on sidewalks, lawns, green space or landscaped areas is prohibited, and it warns that violators face impoundment and fines. On an urban campus with limited surface parking that is a real temptation and a real cost. Beyond that, Georgia Tech does not publish the detail other programs do, so we cannot tell you its policy on charcoal against gas, alcohol, tents, generators or set up times, and we are not going to guess at them. One warning sign on the lot pages themselves: several still instruct fans that masks and social distancing are required, which means those pages have not been revised in years, so treat anything time sensitive on them as needing a phone call.

You can buy a legitimate gameday space in a lot where tailgating is banned. E81 and W23 are both on the parking office's day of list and both are marked no tailgating on their own lot pages.
RVs cannot pay on site. Tech states on site parking fees are not available for RVs, and names Wallace Street on Tech Parkway as the only RV location, in a lot that also bans tailgating and takes no cash.
