How we ranked this
One number per stadium: the cheapest general parking the stadium itself sells to a regular car, taken from that team’s guide and shown beside the exact wording we read it from. Where a price is a range, we rank the low end. We leave out season passes, resale listings, RV and oversize passes, and accessible and rideshare zones, because none of those is the number you compare across stadiums. Offsite lots, community lots, and street parking are often cheaper, and they are in each stadium’s guide. Prices change every season, so click through before you build your day around one.
Where you can park free
Free shuttle in from the Union area, or a walk from the D1 lot
None, the free shuttle runs from both
Depends entirely which lot, and the close ones are the reserved ones
Tyndall Avenue, Park Avenue and Highland Avenue garages
None from the car, the Green Line stops next to the stadium
Fontaine has a lighted pedestrian walkway to the stadium via Stadium Road
None, a free shuttle runs to Gate 1
Marked green on the official gameday map
None, the shuttle runs to the Memorial Student Center
Varies, from a short walk to a proper hike depending on the lot
About 1 mi, or ride the shuttle
Jersey Mike's Arena or the College Avenue lots
None, CAMBUS runs to the stadium
Long from South Campus, shorter from the North Campus lots
Varies, fans name the numbered streets west of the 110 as closest
None, fan shuttles run from both garages
Across Montlake Boulevard from the stadium's west entrance
None, a shuttle runs from the lot
Free shuttle to the stadium, dropping at the LJVM Coliseum entrance
Off campus, so plan on a bus or a rideshare rather than a walk
The FOC shuttle runs 7th and Lewis to Hall of Fame and Knoblock
6 min to the stadium
Under 1 mi, or $1 on the Tuscaloosa Transit bus
Route 4 runs you in from the 7th and Vermont stop
A short walk to Ford Stadium, or a gameday shuttle from the station
Varies, the Research Park is south of Highway 30 along Airport Road
None, the bus drops on South Road by Carmichael Arena
About 1 to 1.5 mi, roughly 20 to 30 min
A modest walk, or about 3 minutes on a bike
From around the recreation center to the stadium
Free means somewhere you can actually leave a car for nothing, so free bike valet, free shuttles, and lots that are only free if you are already a hotel guest are not counted here. Each guide has the tow and permit caveats.
Still looking, check back
These 28 stadiums do not publish a single-game parking rate we could verify. They sell permits, season passes, or a price that changes by game. That has been hard to find, we are still searching, and we would rather leave a stadium out than put a number on it we cannot stand behind. Check back, or tell us if you know.
