The City of Bryan runs this, not the university. Parking is free throughout Historic Downtown Bryan, and the city and county mark additional free lots with maroon Game Day Parking signs. The shuttle leaves from the Roy Kelly Parking Garage at 200 E. 27th Street and loops continuously to A&M's Memorial Student Center through the entire game window. Every shuttle is fitted with a lift and wheelchair restraints. If you would rather have a covered space, the garage itself is $5 and the shuttle is still free.

Heads up: Open containers are not permitted on the shuttle, which matters if you are coming back from a tailgate. Downtown Bryan is a different town from College Station, so build in the drive at the start of the day rather than being surprised by it. One fan notes there is plenty of free or cheap parking in Bryan four to five hours before kickoff, which is also a warning about turning up an hour out.

Lot 50 sits at the far northeast end of campus with a dedicated shuttle to the Zone area at Kyle Field, running from three hours before kickoff until an hour and a half after the game. Aggies who use it say plainly that they love it, and the reason is the same one that shows up everywhere in College Station: you are outside the roads that close.

Heads up: The postgame shuttle stops an hour and a half after the game, which is roughly when fans say the road closures around the stadium lift, so this works as long as you are not planning a long evening on campus.

A&M keeps a limited number of general parking areas around campus that sell on the day at either $25 or $40, with the higher price attached to the closer, higher demand spots. Free gameday shuttles run to Kyle Field from three hours before kickoff to an hour after.

Heads up: Transportation Services says outright that shuttle routes changed this year and to check their site before each game, so do not plan off a map from a previous season. Availability is limited, and the closest lots are the ones inside the road closures.

The two garages A&M prepays are Central Campus and Gene Stallings Boulevard, and prepaid gameday parking is only valid if purchased through ParkMobile.

Heads up: Transportation Services states that prepaid parking is only valid if bought from ParkMobile, which is a warning about resale sites as much as a payment instruction. If someone is selling you a garage space anywhere else, that is not the product A&M sells.

Wherever the campus motorcycle spaces are /// Gameday

On football gamedays, motorcycles park free in on-campus motorcycle spaces. It is a small thing that no commercial parking page will ever tell you, because there is nothing to sell.

Heads up: Lot 48 is the exception and is specifically excluded from the free motorcycle rule.

Stadium lot

Designated accessible spaces sit in the University Center Garage at $40 and in Lot Y / 114 at $25, and both take cash or credit. Lot Y / 114 is next to the White Creek Apartments and the School of Public Health, and the Stotzer shuttle route runs accessible service from there to the Zone entrance at Kyle Field. A&M also sets aside University Center Garage parking for distinguished or disabled veterans.

Heads up: A county-issued ISA disabled hangtag or ISA disabled license plate is required, so a placard from another authority may not be accepted. A&M flags both the Lot Y / 114 spaces and the accessible shuttle as new, which means anything you remember from a previous visit has changed.

The lots nearest the stadium belong to the 12th Man Foundation rather than Transportation Services, and parking has to be loaded into your mobile wallet to get in. Pre-game access to Lots C, D, E, G and P depends on which roads are closed, and A&M publishes separate route maps for them.

Heads up: Faculty, staff and students have to be out of these lots by 6 a.m. on gameday, and out of Lot 74 by 5:30 p.m. the Friday before. Unauthorized vehicles are cited and may be relocated at the owner's expense, which is a polite way of saying towed.
