Two separate free things stack here. The City of Stillwater publishes that its public parking is free, with posted time limits of 30 minutes to 3 hours that are enforced Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On a Saturday those limits aren't enforced, so downtown is free and untimed on a gameday. Stillwater's visitor bureau then publishes the shuttle: catch it at 7th and Lewis in downtown Stillwater for free round trip service to Boone Pickens Stadium, starting three hours before the game.

Heads up: Read the signs anyway, because the free-but-timed rule is posted per block and a weeknight game would fall inside the enforcement window. The shuttle runs until 30 minutes after kickoff, then resumes in the third quarter and continues for a minimum of 30 minutes after the game or until the lines are gone, so it isn't continuously available through the middle of the game.

Proximity is allocated by giving level rather than sold at a rate. POSSE lots open at 8 a.m. on football gamedays. Cowboy VIP and Maverick donors get premium parking closest to the stadium, with VIP lots allocated as numbered reserved spaces and the rest reserved by lot without a numbered space. Pistol Pete and Golden Spur donors park first come, first served within their corresponding lots.

Heads up: This means there is no walk-up price for close parking, so a visiting fan can't simply pay more to be nearer. Treat the donor lots as unavailable and plan from the downtown shuttle instead. Oklahoma State also recommends downloading parking passes and tickets into a mobile wallet before you arrive, because connectivity around the stadium on gameday is unreliable.

Reserved POSSE RV parking is Lot 74 at Hall of Fame and Walnut, which needs a POSSE State Rangers RV parking hang tag and is administered jointly by the POSSE and the State Rangers RV Club. A second reserved POSSE RV lot is Lot 81 on McDonald, north of Hall of Fame, which needs an RV POSSE permit. Visitors and non-POSSE RVs that don't need hookups go to Lot 84 and Lot 12, north of Hall of Fame and east of Willis. Oversized vehicles that aren't RVs have their own lot, 102, next to the Library Annex on North Boomer Road.

Heads up: All RV lots on university property open at 5:30 p.m. the evening before each home game. The public lots are explicitly for RVs not requiring hookups, so if you need power or water this isn't the arrangement.
