Community lot

University Heights is a separate small city entirely surrounded by Iowa City, and it sits across Melrose Avenue from Kinnick. Residents there advertise paid parking on driveways and lawns, which is the closest parking to the stadium that is not a university lot. Visiting fans describe circling and eventually finding a space in the neighbourhood, then walking down Melrose to the stadium, and locals point newcomers to University Heights specifically because the rules there are not Iowa City's.

Heads up: Do not build a plan on this. Regulars say the driveways are mostly sold by the season, so what is left on a given Saturday is cancellations rather than inventory, and one visiting fan described driving around for a while before finding anything. We could not verify what University Heights permits, what Iowa City permits, or any price, so treat this as a thing that exists rather than a thing you can count on.
