Parking at Highmark Stadium

Launching soon
Orchard Park, NY///5 ways to park///Checked July 2026

Two things make Buffalo different from every other stop on this list. First, everything you knew about parking here is out of date, because the Bills have moved into a new Highmark Stadium and the lots, zones and gates are all new. Season ticket holders have already found that their assigned zone doesn't necessarily sit on the same side as their entry gate, so check your pass against your gate rather than assuming. Second, and more urgently: every lot requires an advance purchase pass, and day-of transactions are limited to accessible parking only. There is no showing up and paying. Get the pass before you leave home or you aren't parking here.

The short answer

Buy your parking pass in advance, because day-of sales exist only for accessible parking. Lots open 4 hours before kickoff and close 2 hours after. Bringing an RV means arriving the day before, since there is no game-day RV entry at all. Tailgating ends at kickoff, not after the game. Check which side your zone is on against your gate, because the new stadium's layout has caught out even season ticket holders.

We could not put a number on stadium parking here, because no single-game rate is published that we could verify. That has been hard to find and we are still looking, so check back. See every NFL stadium ranked.

Every option, in detail

Stadium lot

General parking (Bronze, Gold, Platinum, Green, Grey, Orange zones)

No posted rate, and every pass must be bought before you drive out

Varies by zone /// 4 hours before kickoff, closing 2 hours after the game

The zones are Bronze, Gold, Platinum, Green, Grey and Orange, and all of them are advance purchase. The team publishes no rate for any of them. This is the first season in the new stadium, so the zone map, the prices and the local workarounds are all resetting at once and last season's knowledge doesn't carry over.

Heads up: The rule that will actually catch you out: "All Highmark Stadium parking lots require an advanced purchase parking pass. Event Day parking transactions are limited to accessible parking only." So there is no paying at the gate. Turning up without a pass means the private lots or a long walk. Buy before you leave the house, and check your zone on your pass rather than assuming it matches where you parked last year.

Via buffalobills.com (The Bills' own stadium parking page, which states the advance purchase rule and the accessible parking exception but publishes no price for any zone. Local reporting on inaugural season pricing sits behind paywalls we could not read, so we aren't quoting a number we can't stand behind. Checked July 2026.)

Stadium lot

RV lot

Advance purchase, separate RV pass

At the stadium /// 8:00 AM the day before the game, closing at 10:00 PM that night

The RV lot is its own operation and it runs on a completely different schedule from everything else. Entry opens at 8am the day before the game and closes at 10pm that same day, which is why fans report campers already parked overnight when the regular lots open.

Heads up: There is no game-day RV entry at all. If you arrive Sunday morning with an RV, you aren't getting in. You also can't exit and re-enter on game days, you must depart at least two hours after the game, and there are no power or septic services. Plan the whole weekend around those constraints.

Stadium lot

Accessible parking (Blue ADA and White ADA lots)

Cashless payment on arrival

At the stadium, with cart transport available /// 4 hours before kickoff

The Blue ADA and White ADA lots run first come, first served with cashless payment when you arrive, which makes accessible parking the single exception to the advance-purchase rule. The Bills also run ADA golf cart transportation from the lots to the stadium gates, reachable at 716-312-8933 on game day.

Heads up: First come still means early, and the new stadium's ADA provision has drawn complaints from season ticket holders about placement relative to gates. If you have specific access needs, call ahead rather than sorting it in the lot.

Stadium lot

Bus and Limo lot

Advance purchase, separate pass

At the stadium /// 4 hours before kickoff

A dedicated lot for buses and limos, which matters in a market where groups regularly charter a bus rather than drive. It needs its own pass, bought ahead like everything else.

Heads up: Group operators sell out, particularly for marquee games, so this is the one to book earliest if you're organizing for a crowd.

Community lot

Private lots around the stadium

Varies, generally cash

Varies, most within a walk /// Varies by operator, many open early for tailgaters

Orchard Park has a long tradition of private lots and residential operators around the stadium, and fans regularly use them for bigger tailgates or to avoid stadium pricing. Fans coming without a car also ask about walking into tailgates, which the private lots handle more flexibly than the stadium ones.

Heads up: We are deliberately not naming operators. These are small, informal, and they change year to year, and this is the first season at the new stadium so last season's knowledge doesn't transfer. Ask locally close to your game date for this season's confirmed lots, and expect cash.

Reported by fans, with no official page confirming it. Community knowledge among Buffalo fans rather than an official listing. No stadium or city page names these operators, so there is nothing for us to link.

How it compares

Skip parking entirely

Orchard Park is a suburban stadium without a rail line, so realistically you're driving, riding a chartered bus, or getting dropped off. That makes the advance parking pass the thing to solve first rather than something to figure out on the way.

Chartered buses

Varies by operator, plus a bus lot pass

Group buses are a genuine Buffalo institution, and the stadium runs a dedicated Bus and Limo lot for them. For a group coming from Toronto, Rochester or anywhere else within driving range, this is often both cheaper and easier than several cars each needing their own pass.

When to get there

Lots open four hours before kickoff and Bills fans use all of it. Fans report pulling in just before 9am for a 1pm game and finding they aren't close to first, with RV campers already in place from the night before. If you want a proper tailgate spot, treat the four hour mark as the arrival time. If you're bringing an RV, your arrival window is the previous day between 8am and 10pm, full stop.

Getting out after

Lots close two hours after the game, so there is a window to let the Orchard Park roads clear rather than joining the queue immediately. Worth knowing that tailgating itself ends at kickoff, so the postgame hour is for waiting, not for firing the grill back up.

Tailgating rules

Buffalo's tailgate is the reason many people come, and the rules are specific. Each parking space includes a 9 by 10 foot tailgating area alongside the 9 by 18 foot stall, and everything has to stay within it. Tailgating ends at kickoff.

Permitted: tents, natural gas and propane grills, raised charcoal grills, non-breakable cups and personal speakers. Prohibited: stakes and ground inserts of any kind, so your tent needs weights rather than pegs, plus glass bottles, excessive amplified sound, golf carts, drones, megaphones and weapons. Commercial food service isn't allowed either, meaning you can't sell food or drink at your tailgate, a rule the team has recently reiterated.
