AT&T Stadium has roughly 12,000 spaces across 15 numbered lots, plus nearly 12,000 more in the lettered lots around the Rangers ballpark next door, which means Arlington is one of the few places where supply isn't the problem. The budget tier of the official lots. A portion of Lot 15 is the bus parking and the rideshare location for the season, and a portion of Lot 14 is where RVs and oversized vehicles go. Tailgating spaces exist in both.

The middle tier, and the sweet spot if the tailgate matters. Tailgating spaces exist in lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, so you don't have to buy premium to grill. Tailgating is banned outright in Lot 3, parts of Lot 5, Lot 8 and Lot 9.
Heads up: Two catches the ticket page won't tell you. Tailgating is only permitted on the grass at the perimeter of a lot, not in a normal parking space, and a single tailgate space maxes out at 9 feet wide by 12 feet deep. Those spaces are first come, so buying a pass doesn't guarantee you one. If that is the plan, arrive when lots open five hours out.

RVs and oversized vehicles go to Silver Lot 14 at a published rate of $150, which is the only price the stadium states outright. Spaces are 20ft by 40ft, and anything longer than 43ft has to check with the lot attendant. Overnight parking is allowed for most events: RVs can arrive as early as 8:00 AM the day before and must be out by 5:00 PM the day after.
Heads up: There are no electric or water hookups in Silver Lot 14, though there is a dump station on site. A tow car needs its own permit unless it shares the RV space. Tailgating is allowed inside your own space only, never in the drive aisles, and generators are permitted within the space.

Accessible spaces are first come, first served with a valid state-issued placard or plate, and you still need a parking pass for that specific lot. Importantly, mobility shuttle carts run from every Cowboys lot to the stadium and after events too, which means a cheaper distant lot is still workable. Shuttle tents sit near Entries A, D, J and G.
Heads up: First come with no reservation means arriving at the five hour opening is the only reliable strategy. Shuttles carry the guest who needs the service plus one companion, so a larger group will split up.

The rideshare location for this season is Lot 15. Taxis stage at the far west end of Miller LiteHouse off North Collins Street and Cowboys Way, for drop-off before and pickup after. Limousines drop passengers in Lots 1 and 6.
Heads up: Arlington has no rail service, so rideshare supply after a game is finite and surges accordingly. The stadium also warns that the two passenger drop-off zones in Lots 1 and 6 may not be reachable for pickup because of post-event traffic, which leaves the single Miller LiteHouse pickup zone. If you didn't drive, know your ride home plan before kickoff.

Arlington is famously the largest US city without a public transit rail system, so there is no train to this stadium and no cheap transit workaround. The one scheduled service that reaches the stadium on event days is the Arlington Trolley, and it is open only to guests of partner hotels, which makes driving the default here more than anywhere else on this list.

$12 round trip, $6 one way, as of July 2026This is the hotel shuttle and the closest thing Arlington has to transit, and the catch is the one every guide leaves out: you have to be staying at a partner hotel in the Entertainment Area Management District, and the hotel gives you a confirmation number you need to complete the booking. Reservations open about 30 days before the event and are paid through the TRAKK app. Two hotel pickups run roughly 90 minutes and 45 minutes before kickoff, and trolleys leave the stadium 20 minutes after the game ends and keep running until everyone is out. For an out-of-town fan that makes the hotel choice the parking decision. One more catch: the trolley's regular no-fare route service doesn't run to the stadium on event days, so the free version isn't an option for a game.

Getting out after
Dallas is unusually generous about the postgame: tailgating is permitted for two hours after Cowboys games, so you can cook again and let the Arlington roads clear instead of joining them. That is a real advantage over stadiums that shut the lots down promptly, and it is the strongest argument for planning a full day here. If you came by rideshare, note that the Lot 1 and Lot 6 drop-off zones may not be reachable for pickup, so the Miller LiteHouse zone is where you're heading.
Tailgating rules
Tailgating spaces exist in lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, on a first come basis, from the time lots open until two hours after the game. It is banned in Lot 3, parts of Lot 5, Lot 8 and Lot 9. That postgame window is rare and worth planning around.
The rule that catches people: tailgating means putting anything on the ground, and it is only allowed on the grass at the perimeter of a lot, within 12 feet of the back of your car, in a space no more than 9 feet wide by 12 feet deep. Prohibited: deep fryers and any oil-based cooking, open flames of any kind, fireworks, weapons, amplified sound, saving spaces, and any selling or promotion.
